You spin my table right round

I have a booth update for you! In Pendleton, we are lucky to be part of the Highway 38 sale. It goes from New Castle to Noblesville (down Highway 38) right through Pendleton. And even though it was the weekend before our wedding, we still made it out to all of the awesome garage sales and found some great items to upcycle. Tonight, I wanted to share two pieces we got at the Highway 38 sale, redid, and put in the booth!

The first is a round side table that I am in love with and begged Kyle to keep. As usual, he was the voice of reason and reminded me that we don't have a place for it. Here is the before picture:

It was a beautiful shape, it just needed some love. So we decided to paint it teal and white. Here are the after photos:

I love the two different colors and the way it turned out!

We also updated a desk. Here are after pictures of the desk:
I love the details on the desk. I think it would also make a great vanity if you put a mirror on it!

And lastly, here is what the booth looks like right now:

I hope you enjoyed the booth update! Stay tuned for more wedding DIYs!

Monogrammed maids

I have finally gotten around to sharing a wedding DIY! This one is close to my heart because it was for the girls who are closest to my heart, my bridesmaids. I wanted to differentiate the bouquets for the girls so it could be a little more personal. So I made letters for each of their bouquets. Here is a picture of my maid of honor, Allie, so you have an idea before the tutorial. All photos are courtesy of the amazing Gail Werner Photography, who I can't say enough good things about!

Here is the tutorial:

What You'll Need:
1. Wooden letters - 2 of each letter (I found them at Hobby Lobby for cheap)
2. Hot glue
3. Drill
4. Spray Paint

Directions:
1. Glue two of each letter together.
2. Drill a hole in each letter
3. Spray paint the letters
4. Give them to your florist

See, it's that easy! And I think it made it more personal for them. Here are some other pictures:

My girls and I!

And lastly, my sister and I! I hope you enjoyed this quick DIY. Stay tuned for a booth update.
